1. Eostre, Growth.
The spring Goddess Eostre brings you a message of change and expansion. She beckons you with an egg, what will you create this week? What new changes and projects will you birth into creation? We’re just leaving the festival of Ostara, but we’re in full swing of those refreshing springtime energies. Energetically, spring is associated with growth and new beginnings. I feel like this is relating to new creative ventures/ideas that some of you may have been thinking about. If you have, this is the perfect time to capitalise on the energy of spring and start bringing whatever you’re planning into being.

I sense that this is also about inner growth. Our inner cycles reflect the seasons, so as we’re desiring to create new growth in our outer world, so does our inner world crave expansion. If there’s something you’ve been thinking about doing, whether it’s a spiritual course, applying for higher education or something else that speaks to inner development, then go for it! Fear is something that holds a lot of us back from doing the thing we truly desire, but don’t let fear stop you. The best thing to do is to release attachment to the outcome, try to enjoy the process of growing, learning and creating. There’s never been a better time than now.

Try working with Amazonite which is associated with fresh starts, and any crystals that are shaped like an egg this week.

Affirmation: ‘My life expands with the revitalising breath of spring.’

2. Gyhldeptis, Synthesis.
Gyhldeptis brings you a message of bringing together, of unification. I feel like this is a message to simplify your life. In my opinion, simplification is the ultimate form of sophistication. This card is challenging you to assess all that you’ve brought into your life and simplify, let go of anything that’s no longer in alignment with your energy. When I say this, I mean everything; thoughts, physical objects, people, hobbies, routines etc. Declutter your home, research minimalism, give up hobbies you dislike, cancel that unused gym membership, clean up your social media and redirect your thoughts with positive affirmations. Things like this leech our energy, really think about where you’re putting yours.

The other message here is one of spending time in nature, and finding inner calm this week. When I spend time in nature, I feel much calmer and cleansed of all the yucky stuff that seems to accumulate in my energetic field. If you can, go walking in the woods and really observe your environment. Walking meditation is a great way to get some perspective on whatever is worrying you, because lets face it, we’re all worrying about something!

It would be beneficial to work with grounding crystals this week, like Hematite and Black Tourmaline.

Affirmation: ‘Through release, I find my way to wholeness’.

3. Kuan Yin, Compassion.
Kuan Yin brings you a message of compassion. She asks you to be kind to yourself this week. It’s often our modus operandi to be hard on ourselves, and to criticise, criticise and criticise some more. I know if I think I’ve done something wrong, I never let myself forget it! If something goes horribly wrong this week, go easy on yourself. I feel like there’s a message of being gentle with yourself this week; spend some time journaling and engage in activities that are of a more gentle, compassionate energy.

Buy yourself some pale pink flowers and put them on your altar, meditate with rose quartz, spend time reading an inspiring book instead of watching the news, or take a floral bath. I like to use pink Himalayan sea salts, lavender and rose geranium essential oils.

There’s also a message here about protecting your energy this week. If you’re feeling quite sensitive, shield your energy in the morning and take sea salt baths (so nice!).

This card is asking you to approach things from a heart centred place; maybe do some heart chakra work. Be kind to yourself and to the people around you. At work, when you’re going to make a drink offer to make one for your colleague, give up your seat on that crowded train, visit an elderly neighbour/relative, donate to charity, or buy a homeless person a sandwich. What acts of kindness can you do this week?

Work with crystals related to the heart chakra, like rose quartz and jade.

Affirmation: ‘I open my heart to the divine healing of compassion’.
